I was curious about the Participation Officers Network, its history and how it relates to vTaiwan. Is the PO Network simply responsible for facilitating workshops that are created as a result of vTaiwan proposals? Or are these two completely different processes where the PO Network handles e-petitions outside of vTaiwan? I hope this makes sense. Thank you very much for your time.
There is no formal links between vTaiwan and PO process at the moment; the two networks have a few facilitators and process elements in common.
As per the directive, POs choose topics every month for interministerial collaboration. So far the majority of cases are from e-petition, though there are exceptions (such as the Next Generational Medicare Card case).
